Overview
This training session will go over indestructible toys and why children may need them. Participants will learn when they may need an indestructible toy and how to find or make them. We will review how to adapt existing toys in order to promote inclusion and participation for all children in an early care and education setting. Participants will leave this training with practical and useful strategies for toys in their setting.

Identify when an indestructible toy may be needed in their setting and how to implement strategies to adapt toys to be indestructible.

This module is eligible for one half (0.5) unit hours in the areas of EI developmental specialist/supervisor and EI service coordinator/supervisor as approved by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).
