Overview

This training session will explore fidgets and their impact on sensory regulation, focus and attention. Participants will gain an understanding of how they can use fidgets as an adaptation to support children's participation and gain insight into the effective implementation of fidgets within inclusive settings. We will examine a range of high quality fidget options to empower participants with the knowledge to select the most suitable tools for the children in their care.

Estimated Time to Complete: 30 minutes

  • Identify times when it may be beneficial to provide a child with a fidget.
  • Describe the benefits of providing fidgets to children.
