Transportation of Preschool Children with Disabilities

Transportation needs must be considered by the IEP team.  There are specific requirements in Ohio regarding the transportation of preschool children with disabilities. IEP teams must document who will be transporting the child and identify any needed modifications or accommodations. IEP teams must also remember that transportation must be provided for children eligible for preschool special education to access a free and appropriate public education.
